In this paper, the possible reasons for Cd-Ni secondary battery to be out of work were discussed，and the nonserviceable Cd-Ni secondary batteries were successfully restored.
Maintenance includes painting, replacing damaged doors, frames and other components, window frames, sashes and casings, replacement of nonserviceable hardware and re-glazing where necessary.
